For poor and sad people like me, hang out at the cafes like Starbucks just to enjoy a cup of green tea latte seem too excessive. Why do not we make it ourselves at home, and of course with less cost. It's pretty easy, so you don't need to spend your dollar everyday just to look cool with the expensive cup :P.
Here we go, how to make green tea latte for your self
Here we go, how to make green tea latte for your self
it would be 4 scoops of the matcha powder and 4 pumps of melon syrup.
then you put half hot water and half steamed milk. and top with foam !
grande: 3 scoops of matcha powder and 3 pumps of melon syrup
tall: 2 scoops of matcha powder and 2 pumps of melon syrup

Ingredients:
1 cup soy milk
1 cup water
1 tablespoon green tea powder (matcha)
2 tablespoons white sugar

Direction
In a small saucepan, combine the soy milk, water, green tea powder and sugar. Warm over medium heat while whisking until hot and foamy. Pour into mugs and enjoy.
I don't know about you, but for me this green tea latte that i made by myself is better than any other, even tim hortons :D. But here is another way if you want try something different
How to make green tea latte |
- 1 teaspoon of green tea latte powder
- 100 cc hot water (80-95°C)
- 100 cc fresh milk
- sugar or honey
- Mix the green tea latte powder with hot water & sugar or honey
- Shake the milk with milk frother/french press or if you want to be more pro, use steamer wand
- Gently pour the milk foam onto the green tea latte
